The EC Hospitality Program will provide every student with a foundation of knowledge and the practical application skills to successfully forge a career in Hospitality Management.

Renewable Energy

This course is designed to provide students comprehensive knowledge of different aspects of renewable energies, in addition to energy efficiency and energy conservation. In the two years' diploma course, all the following certificate courses need to be completed.

Construction

The Construction Skills session provides market intelligence and insight for the Somaliland construction industry. The data it produces highlights trends and how the industry will change year-on-year, allowing businesses to understand the current climate and plan ahead for the future.

It was the opening day of the college. Omar Musse Kahin appreciated participants, including the first lady of Somaliland Amina Waris Jirdeh, The minister of Higher education Samsam Abdi now the Minister of finance, Mayor of Hargeisa and religious leaders.

The president outlined the courses that will be offered by the college, and the duration in which these courses will be completed. The president was so excited for introducing these special hospitality college to Somaliland. And he repeated the significance for student to take an advantage from European college and its professional teachers from overseas.

He closed his remarks by asking the parents and students for immediate enrollment and support for the college since it’s the first time that this kind of college has established in Somaliland.

He also mentioned how European College will produce skilled workforce equipped with practical knowledge.

These skilled employees will fill the gap and get jobs in the market. There are many jobs in Somaliland, but we do not have enough skilled people to do these jobs Mr. President said.
